At its core is the S-Works FACT 12m carbon frame, weighing just 1,589 grams, making it the lightest full-suspension cross-country frame ever produced. Advanced FEA optimization and obsessive gram-saving design reduce weight without compromising stiffness or control, ensuring every watt is translated into forward motion. Paired with 120mm of front and rear travel, the Epic 9 delivers unmatched capability for modern XC terrain.
Refined suspension kinematics and 11% lower friction create a ride that is both supple and efficient. The Dynamic Trio suspension system, Wide Open, Magic Middle, and Sprint-On-Lock, allows riders to seamlessly adapt to changing terrain, balancing pedaling efficiency with traction and control. Combined with race-proven geometry tuned using Body Geometry data, the Epic 9 offers stability on descents, precision in corners, and explosive acceleration on climbs.
